Genesis Engineering Co. is an EHT 'A' Class Electrical and Civil EPC Contractor based in Mohali, Punjab — Udyam-registered, and licensed to design, build, and commission extra-high-tension electrical infrastructure.
Our story
From cable jointing crews to turnkey substations.
Genesis Engineering Co. has grown from executing HV cable-laying and jointing packages for larger EPC houses into a licensed 'A' Class contractor delivering full-scope substation projects in its own right — supply, civil, structural, electrical, testing, and commissioning, under one contract. Our teams have laid EHV cable through dense urban corridors, erected 66kV and 132kV bays, and commissioned grid substations for state transmission utilities, private power companies, and industrial clients across Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi NCR.
We work as a direct contractor to utilities and developers, and as a specialist HV sub-contractor to larger EPC and infrastructure houses — a dual role that keeps our crews current on both utility compliance standards and large-project execution discipline.

Safety and quality are scope, not overhead.
Every project runs under a defined Project Quality Control Organization, with permit-to-work and lock-out/tag-out procedures enforced on all HV/EHV cable laying, substation erection, and live-line works. Incidents and near-misses are investigated and closed out, not filed away.
We hold ourselves to CEA, PSPCL/PSTCL, and GMADA-equivalent standards on every job, with traceable documentation and testing certificates carried through from site handover to final record. Our HSEQ objectives are set and reviewed annually at management level — not once at contract signing.
